Message: OUTSTANDING! I'm not a mechanic, nor am I from MS, but when my car broke down in Columbia my cousin talked about Mike's Auto Shop. Because of what I told them, they thought the problem might be the catalytic converters, so we went to a local muffler shop, who determined it was not that. The owner directed me back to Mike's. He praised this man and his quality work. I asked if there other auto shops and he directed me to two. When I asked who he used he said I take all my personal and business vehicles to them. The owner of the company where my cousin works also takes all his personal/business work to Mike's. I was completely confident that these important business owners, as well as my cousin, were giving their approval of the work done by Mike's Auto. I go back to Mike's and they diligently checked out stuff. Then Mike decided at the last minute, before starting work, to check one more thing. I'm SO THANKFUL to Mike and his staff (especially Clyde) for their thorough, careful exam of a car they will likely never see again! It needed an engine, and Clyde researched and found 3. We got one with 102, 000 miles, that was a few miles than my car had on the old engine. I'm am thrilled at their work ethic, honesty, thoroughness, continual status updates, explanations of needs, total costs, and time it would take. When you are away from your own mechanic, in an area for the first time, you often think your choices are hit-n-miss. I am pleased to tell you that in the Columbia and Foxworth, MS you have a great choice. I'd never go anywhere else.
