Barding Alternator & Starter

Message: Travis was amazing! We had a last minute repair to our generator that could have turned into a catastrophic issue. We transport live companion pets and as hot as it is we cannot do that with out AC in the cargo area. We started out at another location as we are usually well prepared for the long hauls. Travis discovered our battery was dead as a door knob…With no time to spare he was able to replace it and fire up the generator! We were delayed an hour with the whole ordeal but had we started out with Bards it would have delayed us have the time lost. All is well that ends well! Nice clean shop, not far from the city center…God’s plan for us today! THANK YOU TRAVIS!

Message: My wife’s 4Runner alternator went out, called and got a quote. Was in and out in less than 24 hours. Needed a new pulley and they were able to rebuild it cheaper than a new one. Was all in cheaper than what a new alternator would have set me back from an auto parts store. Thank you.

Message: THESE PEOPLE ARE REALLY REALLY GOOD, I TOOK 2 TRACTOR STARTERS TO BARDING ALTERNATOR, GENERATOR & STARTER REPAIR, I WAS ORIGINALLY LOOKING AT ABOUT $ 200, $ 100 FOR EACH STARTER, BUT IT TURNED OUT TO BE A ENTIRELY DIFFERENT PROBLEM THEN WHAT I ORIGINALLY THOUGHT IT WAS, FOR EACH STARTER, THE NEWEST STARTER HAD A LITTLE WATER IN IT, AND WAS EASLEY FIXED, $ 84. 00 WITCH I GLADLY PAYED ( A NEW STARTER COST ABOUT $ 260. 00 AT THE DEALERSHIP ), THE OLDEST STARTER, UNFORTUNATELY WAS NONE REPAIRABLE, IT WAS JUNK, IT WAS A SPARE, NO HARM NO FOUL, BUT IF I NEEDED ANOTHER ONE, THEY HAVE THEM A LOT CHEAPER THAN THE DEALERSHIP, SO IF YOU NEED A ALTERNATOR, GENERATOR OR STARTER, TAKE YOUR OLD ONE TO BARDING'S FIRST, MORE THAN LIKELY IT WILL BE A LOT CHEAPER, WOULD NOT HURT TO CHECK WITH THEM FIRST, ESPECIALLY IF THE NEW ONE IS REALLY EXPENSIVE, AND IF THEY CAN'T FIX IT, THEY MAY HAVE A NEW ONE CHEAPER THAN THE DEALERSHIP OR EVEN AN AUTO PARTS STORE.

Message: 60+ years in business. When you pull up they greet you and unload whatever part/battery you brought, load new parts and you’re on your way. Very nice guys.

Message: After leaving here I haven't felt this relaxed in awhile. Yes I could of ordered from Amazon or ebay but I didn't wanna chance something so important to fail and cause more problems. I left that shop paying less then paying online after hours of research but the deadline is here it had to get done so I had to have those 2 parts today to fix my 2012 honda ACCORD EX-L 3. 5L alternator and walking in with already accepting that im about to get hit hard and pay atleast 4 times the cost or just say he dont have them on stock.. after spending a good bit of time tracking down the parts because of some numbers missing on alternator and he sure wasn't making money searching when he could of been rebuilding and I walk out paying Less For quality parts than some border line junk... Thanks so much You completely made my month...
